PRIVACY POLICY

Caricue LLC | https://caricue.com/

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Caricue LLC (“Caricue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit https://caricue.com/ and any pages that link to this policy (collectively, the “Site”). The current Site is a free, read-only company-news and blog website. It does not currently offer accounts, public comments, purchases, paid subscriptions, or direct marketing sign-ups.

This policy applies only to the Site. A game, application, subscription, digital service, or other product linked from the Site may have a separate privacy policy that governs that product or service.

1. Information We Handle

1.1 Information you provide

The current Site does not intentionally provide forms for visitors to create accounts, comment, make purchases, subscribe, or directly submit personal information. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the Site. If you contact Caricue outside the Site, such as by mail, we may handle the information you choose to provide to respond to you and keep appropriate business records.

When you visit, internet and security systems necessarily exchange limited technical information. Depending on how the Site and its providers are configured, this may include:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • browser type, device type, operating system, language, and user-agent information;
  • requested URL, referring page, date and time, response status, and similar server or network logs;
  • network, security, bot-detection, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic signals; and
  • cookies, local storage, tokens, or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security, traffic routing, load balancing, and Site functionality.

We do not currently use the Site to build advertising profiles, sell personal information, or conduct cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not currently use Site forms to collect payment, subscription, account, or user-generated-content information.

2. Cloudflare and Website Security

We use Cloudflare services to help deliver, operate, and secure the Site. Cloudflare may process limited technical information—including IP addresses, request and security logs, browser or device information, network identifiers, and security signals—to route traffic, detect bots and malicious activity, prevent abuse, maintain availability, and provide related diagnostics. Cloudflare processes information under its own notices and, where applicable, as a service provider acting for Caricue. Cloudflare may place or read strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for these functions.

Cloudflare Turnstile

We may enable Cloudflare Turnstile on a contact form or other feature to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. If enabled, Turnstile runs browser-based checks and may process IP address, browser and device characteristics, user-agent data, challenge results, and related security signals. Turnstile is used for security and fraud prevention, not advertising.

3. How We Use Information

We may use the limited information described above to:

  • provide, route, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • protect the Site, visitors, and our systems against bots, attacks, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • diagnose technical problems and measure basic Site reliability and traffic;
  • respond to communications and requests;
  • enforce our Terms of Service and protect legal rights; and
  • comply with law, legal process, and lawful government requests.

4. Legal Bases for International Visitors

Where laws such as the European Union or United Kingdom GDPR apply, our legal bases may include our legitimate interests in operating and securing a company-news website, complying with legal obligations, and, where required, consent. We balance legitimate interests against visitors’ rights. If we later use non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies in a jurisdiction requiring consent, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before or when those technologies are used.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. To hosting, content-delivery, security, infrastructure, technical support, and professional-service providers that process information for the purposes described in this policy. Cloudflare is the Site’s currently identified infrastructure and security provider.
  • Legal and safety reasons. To comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; protect rights, safety, and security; prevent fraud or abuse; or investigate violations.
  • Business transactions. In connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
  • With direction or consent. When you direct us to make a disclosure or otherwise consent.

We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly disclose personal information to data brokers for monetary consideration.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The current Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to provide security, traffic management, and core functionality. These technologies may be set by Caricue or a provider such as Cloudflare. Browser controls may allow you to delete or block cookies, but blocking necessary technologies may affect Site availability or security. If we later add non essential analytics, advertising, personalization, or affiliate technologies, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including Site operations, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary according to the type of record, security need, provider configuration, and legal requirements. Cloudflare and other providers may apply their own retention schedules. We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or when law requires it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Site and the limited information handled. No internet transmission, system, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should use appropriate precautions when browsing and avoid sending sensitive information through channels not designed for it.

9. International Processing

Caricue is based in New York, United States, and the Site and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or safeguards, we and our providers will rely on appropriate measures available under that law.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of, or a copy of personal information about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or to appeal a decision about a request. Because the current Site does not provide accounts or direct-submission features, Caricue may have little or no information that can reasonably be linked to you beyond limited technical records handled for security and operations.

To submit a request, write to the address in Section 16 and clearly identify the request, the jurisdiction whose law you believe applies, and enough information for us to locate relevant records. We may need to verify your identity and authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy or data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Browser privacy signals

The current Site does not engage in targeted advertising or sale/sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by certain U.S. state privacy laws. Because browser “Do Not Track” signals do not have a single universally accepted legal or technical standard, the Site does not currently respond to them in a standardized way. If a legally recognized opt-out preference signal applies to our future practices, we will process it as required by applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is a general-audience company-news blog and is not directed to children under 13. The current Site does not offer accounts, public comments, purchases, or direct information submission features, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us using Section 16 so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Third-Party Links and Separate Products

The Site may link to separate websites, applications, games, stores, subscriptions, or services. Their operators may collect information under their own privacy policies, and Caricue does not control third-party practices. A Caricue product hosted on a separate website may also have its own product-specific privacy policy. Review the policy presented on the linked site or product before providing information or making a purchase.

13. Provider and Feature Updates

We may add or replace service providers as the Site develops. Before enabling a provider or feature that materially changes how personal information is handled—such as analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, email subscriptions, comments, accounts, payments, or user generated content—we will assess the change and update this policy and any required notices or consent controls. The current provider list below is intended to make routine updates easier:

  • Provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
  • Service: Content delivery, security, and optional Turnstile
  • Information Involved: IP address; request/security logs; browser, device, network, and bot-detection signals
  • Purpose: Delivery, availability, security, abuse and bot prevention

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when the Site, providers, features, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on the Site and update the effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively, and we will provide any additional notice or choice required by applicable law.

15. Scope and No Compliance Guarantee

This policy describes the current Site based on its present blog-only configuration. It is not a substitute for a technical data-flow, cookie, security, or regulatory audit, and it does not promise that one policy alone satisfies every law worldwide. Caricue should review and update this policy before adding new products, services, accounts, comments, forms, analytics, advertisements, affiliate links, payments, subscriptions, or other interactive features.
